CMS Localization Automation Expert

We are looking for a Webflow API expert to help us resolve an issue with Webflow’s Localization Add-on and Zapier automation.

We have a Webflow project using Webflow Localization Add-ons where user-submitted forms are supposed to create CMS items in the correct locale.

However, currently, form submissions only create an item in the primary locale (FR) while leaving the secondary locale (EN) blank.

Goal: When a user submits a form from the EN page, the CMS item should be created in EN locale, and the same applies for FR.

  • We have already set up a hidden input field that captures which locale the form is submitted from.

  • Previously, when we had two separate CMS collections (one for EN and one for FR), this wasn’t an issue.

  • Now, with Webflow Localization Add-ons, Zapier is unable to differentiate or target the correct localized CMS item.

What We Need:

Expert guidance on Webflow’s API to fetch the correct locale-based CMS collection and ensure items are created in the appropriate language.

A solution that allows the form submission to update the correct localized CMS item dynamically based on the hidden input field.

Instructions or implementation assistance on how to optimize our Zapier + Webflow API integration to ensure smooth automation.

we are looking for...

  • Strong experience with Webflow API and Zapier integration.

Knowledge of Webflow Localization Add-ons and how it affects CMS data handling.

  • Ability to guide us on API-based automation solutions for managing localized content.

If you have experience solving similar issues and can provide a clear API-driven solution, please reach out with your expertise and availability!
