Project Description:

Main Event Digital is seeking a highly creative and experienced Shopify developer with strong UI/UX design skills to migrate our existing website from Webflow (maineventdigital.com) to Shopify. The Shopify website homepage has already been built and should serve as the style guide for the rest of the site. We are looking for a visually engaging, user-friendly, and animated website that effectively showcases our B2B digital marketing services and drives conversions. This project requires a deep understanding of Shopify's capabilities, a focus on user experience, and a keen eye for design.

Current Situation:

Our current website is built on Webflow. We need a complete rebuild in Shopify, utilizing the existing content for some pages and new content for others. We want to enhance the design aesthetics, and overall brand feel, while enhancing user experience, adding animation, and optimizing for B2B interactions. The provided Shopify homepage will be the foundation for the visual style of all other pages.

UI/UX Design & Optimization:

Generate and present high-fidelity mockups where needed.

Maintain ADA accessibility standards

Build out pages in Shopify using the CMS. Ensure that pages are easily editable using the CMS by a business user and that you haven’t hardcoded the design.

Testing the website using Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile.

Iterate based on stakeholder feedback and deliver design requests to meet key timelines and milestones.

Requirements:

Must provide a design portfolio showcasing proven expertise and involvement in creating high-performance creative for brands/companies including Shopify projects.

Possess strong knowledge of Figma or similar tools.

Expertise in current graphic design tools like Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Sketch, InVision, Microsoft Office, and Google collaboration applications. Motion graphic or video editing applications are a plus.

Strong knowledge of web and mobile design and web user experiences, particularly within the Shopify ecosystem. Basic HTML & web development experience is preferred.

Proven strong visual design execution, excellent typography & layout skills, and a keen eye for details and brand identity systems.
